The class focuses on essential principles, skills and techniques for ordinary people in normal daily life. The original system was created by the then Chief of the Tokyo Police Force in Japan based on his knowledge of Jiu Jitsu and Shorinji Kempo. Its nickname was Shorinji Kempo Jiu Jitsu, or Shorinji Kan for short. During its spread from Japan to Australia to England and now Finland, the core system has since been tempered and augmented with other martial arts skills and modern psychology, security and risk management expertise. The core martial arts system is known here as Shorinjitsu and the broader personal protection system built around it is called Lii-Kan Jitsu.

Lii-Kan Jitsu (KungFu - Jiu Jitsu), for which the basic training includes self-defence, Parkour for mobility and agility, and Functional Fitness training by a professional martial arts, Parkour, and exercise/personal trainer (APT).
