    Practical 'Judo Randoori' Training for Self-defense Wrestling Skills This 60-minute workout focuses on Judo-style wrestling techniques and skills for balance, control skills that facilitate both ground fighting and throwing skills. Judo throws and takedowns were created by Jigoro Kano (founder of Judo) to facilitate a safer way to practice the martial arts techniques whilst developing the skills needed to apply them. They are not in themselves the actual martial techniques, which by their very nature and purpose are too dangerous to practice in an uncontrolled or unfettered manner. This is not a combat sport training session, not a Judo club, and neither kickboxing nor MMA. It is, however, a highly focused training session that concentrates on developing the skills needed to apply the self-defense grappling techniques and tactics in real life.
